To be considered for representation by dB TALENT please submit the following materials:
Voiceover talents: submit demos by e-mail as an MP3 to newtalent@austin.rr.com or e-mail a link to your web site. A voice demo should be no longer than 90 seconds, 30 seconds is preferable, and should contain bits and pieces of actual commercial copy. The copy should be appropriate to your sound and age and should exhibit a range in style, delivery and types of copy. What is selling now is a “real person” sound as opposed to announcers. Also, stay away from demos that are primarily accents/various dialects or character voices. To get an idea of how to put together a demo, listen to some of our current voice talents by clicking on the "Voices” icon. You may submit separate commercial, industrial, character/animation, political, and disclaimer demos. (We are exclusive to the state of Texas. You may not list with dB Talent if you already have representation in Texas.)
Actors: submit headshot, résumé and voice demo by e-mail to newtalent@austin.rr.com or e-mail a link to your web site. dB TALENT does not represent actors who do not also do voiceover. Therefore, all submissions must include a voiceover demo in addition to a headshot and resume.
Children (age 5 and older): We are not signing children at this time.
Talents outside of the Austin area: We are only interested in representing out of town talent who have their own studio with ISDN capabilities and are able to send auditions as mp3’s. We are exclusive to Texas. You may not list with dB Talent if you already have representation in Texas.
